Tidy Pups

Grooming times vary for each dog who visits us. It can range from 1 hour to 3 hours, depending on the type of coat to be groomed.

Assessment and Preparation

On arrival, you will discuss your preferences with our groomer who will check your dog's coat for matts or parasites. A price and collection time will be given. Dogs will then be taken outside to settle in and use the facilities. We will then give your dog a pre-bath brush to remove any tangles prior to their bath.

Bathing

We use quality products in the studio, which match the needs of your dog. If you would like us to use anything specific, this will be discussed in the consultation. Shampooing is performed twice at Tidy Pups, to achieve a beautifully clean coat. Conditioner will then be applied and your dog will receive a calming massage to stimulate their skin.

Drying

Your dog will be air-blasted to remove any excess water and then hand blow dried in preparation for styling. We do not use drying cabinets at Tidy Pups.

Trimming and Styling

Once fully dry, your pet will then be trimmed in the style you have asked for, or to their breed standard. Nails will be clipped if necessary.

We will contact you 10-15 minutes prior to your dog being ready for collection. Please do not arrive before this time, as your relaxed dog will become unsettled.
